i have a passion for helping young people from 13 upwards to navigate through school and university.

It can be an especially stressful time when you start at university. I can come along side you and support you to manage any overwhelm and help you think and plan clearly.

I also work 1:1 with students in schools (and after school hours) and can either do this by Zoom or face to face depending on location.

I will help the young person to:

  • Reduce stress and anxiety

  • Feel more confident

  • Handle challenging situations and people

  • Communicate effectively

  • Become more outward looking

  • Manage the pressure of exams

  • Explore new perspectives

  • Become more hopeful and positive about the way forward

  • Gain more motivation to achieve goals

During our sessions we think about:

What is going on now and where could things be better? Learning to have confidence in who you are eg. (kind, helpful, being a good friend etc)

We work out your ideal future
What would it look and feel like?—then set small, self-directed goals to inch closer to that reality.

During this time, we explore the elements that make you who you are—your strengths, skills and values and turn your struggles and weaknesses into tools for building your ideal life. I help you to build positive relationships and encourage you when necessary to see other people's perspectives.
